TILE INSTALLATION SERVICES

Bathroom Tile Installation

Individual Surfaces. One Bathroom.

In a bathroom, tile sets much of the mood: a calm morning, an expressive accent or the feeling of a small home spa. The floor, walls and shower can have different finishes and still look like parts of one design.

At Dream Tile Installation, we help bring these surfaces together through material selection, a considered layout and careful installation. You can update one area or the tile finishes throughout the room, depending on what you want to change.

Let the Materials Support Each Other

Perhaps you like the texture of stone, quiet solid-color tile or a small decorative accent. You do not have to use the same material everywhere. What matters more is how the combination looks alongside the vanity, bathtub, mirror and other details.

If one wall already has a strong personality, the others can give it a little room. Not every surface needs the leading role, or your bathroom might turn into quite a talent contest.

Details You Will See Every Day

A good result comes from more than beautiful tile. The details that matter include:

  • The direction of the layout and the placement of grout joints.
  • Cuts around corners, the bathtub and other features.
  • Finished edges and transitions between materials.
  • How the floor, walls and accent areas work together.

These decisions are worth making before installation, especially in places you will see every day. A mirror can help fix your hair, but it cannot fix an awkward tile layout beside it.

Different Areas Need the Right Preparation

A decorative wall and a surface regularly exposed to shower water face different conditions. Base preparation, installation materials and any necessary waterproofing should suit the particular area.

Tile and grout alone do not replace a waterproofing system. That is why what will stay beneath the finish deserves attention before the first completed row appears.
