Start with the Room, Then the Tile
A kitchen, bathroom and entryway each have their own rhythm. In one room, moisture deserves particular attention; in another, everyday traffic matters most; elsewhere, the aim may be a calm, consistent look throughout the space.
A beautiful sample is a good start. Next, consider whether the particular tile is intended for floors and the conditions in your room, what care it needs and how it will work with its surroundings. After all, the tile in the showroom has not met your entryway yet.
